OUR TRUSTEES
The Kalipatnapu Foundation was established by Indusekhara Rao, Ratnamala and Kiranmai Kalipatnapu to carry on the work of Kalipatnapu Kondiah.
Like his father Kondiah, Indusekhara Rao has dedicated over 40 years of his life to serving the community. As a civil surgeon in the Government’s Medical Services, he has been involved in eradicating epidemics, improving sanitation and access to healthcare in his local district. Now retired, he wants to continue to offer his experience and guidance for projects that provide ongoing and sustainable benefits to the broader community. A lifelong student, Indusekhara Rao holds six higher education degrees.
His wife, Ratnamala, believes that education is the wealth we create. While raising two children, she also educated other children in the local neighbourhood who did not have access to the same schooling and facilities that her own children did. Through the Kalipatnapu Foundation she wants to continue providing opportunities to vulnerable and under-privileged children.
Their daughter Kiranmai was cut from the same cloth and believes education is the most valuable gift of all. She has used her education to obtain qualifications in both Chemistry and Environmental Sciences and now looks forward to helping others to access quality education.
